The Texas Health and Human Services Commission is soliciting dental services for residents of Lubbock State Supported Living Center, including dental treatment performed with anesthesia, patient evaluations and consultations for potential Total Intravenous Anesthesia candidates, pre-anesthesia screenings, and monitoring of vital functions during and immediately after treatment. Potential treatments include fillings, scaling and root planing, endodontic treatment, removable prosthodontics, crowns and bridges, oral surgery, gum disease care, preventive therapy, grafting, bone grafting, and dental implants. The contractor must provide qualified dental personnel with the required dental and anesthesia licenses, certifications, and experience, including at least five years of relevant experience for the bidder and assigned personnel, Texas dental and anesthesia credentials, and CPR certification. The scope also requires detailed anesthesia reports, equipment checklists, itemized invoicing, emergency response capability, background checks, and compliance with specified insurance requirements. The initial contract term begins upon award and expires August 31, 2027, with a possible extension of up to one year.
