Description
The Federal Highway Administration's Western Federal Lands Highway Division is seeking six secure, weatherproof 40-foot high-cube Conex containers for temporary on-site storage during a facility renovation. The requirement includes three Type A side-access/open-side containers and three Type B standard containers. All units must be wind and water tight, structurally sound, clean, dry, rodent-proof, and free of hazardous residues, mold, mildew, severe rust, and major damage. Containers must include specified dimensions and capacities, durable marine-grade plywood flooring, corrosion-resistant Corten steel shells, sealed doors, and integrated lockboxes. The contractor must provide, deliver, offload, and place the containers at the Western Federal Lands Highway Division facility. Delivery is FOB destination within 30 days after receipt of order, with delivery coordination required at least 72 hours before arrival. The quotation must include a completed SF 1449, completed price schedule, technical or specification sheets demonstrating compliance, warranty information if applicable, relevant past-performance information from the last three years, completed representations and certifications, a SAM representations-and-certifications report, and acknowledgment of solicitation amendments. Award will be based on lowest-priced technically acceptable quotation, considering price, technical compliance, and relevant past performance.
