Description
The Defense Logistics Agency is soliciting a firm-fixed-price purchase order for three new sheet metal storage systems for Building 147 at DLA Distribution Cherry Point. Each unit must have an approximately 10-foot frame, accommodate 5-by-12-foot sheet metal on 66-by-150-inch pallets, provide at least 16 pallet or shelf locations, support a 5,000-pound uniform load, provide four inches of storage capacity per shelf, and meet the stated structural requirements. The equipment must be new and include required accessories, hardware, manuals, warranty coverage, and descriptive documentation. Amendment 0001 confirms that the government will offload and arrange setup of the units, while the contractor is responsible for delivery and providing hardware for assembly. The government will perform floor anchoring. Manufacturer certification is acceptable for the applicable structural standard, a frame slightly over 10 feet is acceptable, phased delivery is permitted, and no site visit will be coordinated. Quotes will be evaluated on an all-or-none, lowest-price technically acceptable basis, with award of one firm-fixed-price purchase order.
