Description
Fort Pierce Utilities Authority seeks a qualified, licensed, and insured contractor for as-needed custom carpentry, fabrication, installation, modification, repair, and related specialty woodworking at the Manatee Center. The scope includes exhibit and display structures, kiosks, interpretive furniture, platforms, pedestals, cabinetry, casework, counters, shelving, partitions, millwork, doors, enclosures, finish carpentry, architectural details, and other purpose-built components. Work may include integrating owner-furnished equipment, anchoring components, relocating or reinstalling custom elements, repairing or reconfiguring existing work, and restoring finishes. The contractor must provide labor, supervision, equipment, tools, transportation, materials, hardware, consumables, debris disposal, and incidental supplies unless otherwise specified. Pricing must include hourly and overtime labor rates, materials and rental-equipment markups not exceeding 5%, and applicable permits. Work will be authorized by purchase order or other written authorization on an as-needed basis, with no minimum quantity guaranteed. The contractor must acknowledge requests within two business days, respond within 24 hours when requested, comply with applicable safety and building requirements, and provide at least a one-year workmanship warranty.
