Description
The City of Providence is establishing an open-enrollment, multi-award pool of pre-qualified licensed contractors to perform minor construction renovations and on-call trade services at City-owned and operated facilities. Work will be issued through task orders or work authorizations and may include carpentry, masonry, painting, plastering, interior and exterior repairs, ADA modifications, door repairs, flooring, acoustical ceilings, drywall, coatings, minor structural repairs, and historical restoration. Contractors must provide labor, materials, supervision, equipment, incidentals, qualified personnel, site coordination, debris disposal, records, prevailing-wage compliance, and applicable safety measures. Individual projects are generally limited to $150,000, with larger projects requiring separate procurement. The contract term is three years with two optional one-year renewals, and additional vendors may enroll while the solicitation remains open. Initial submissions must include the specified forms and qualification materials; licenses, certifications, insurance, and other supplemental documentation are requested only after bid opening or before award when requested by the City.
