Description
The City of North Charleston is seeking a qualified multidisciplinary consultant team to prepare a comprehensive Master Plan for Ingleside Preserve, a 440-plus-acre site with historic, cultural, and ecological significance. The scope integrates architecture, land-use and site planning, landscape architecture, engineering, historic preservation, ecological analysis, and public engagement. The plan must establish a long-term, actionable framework for conservation, stewardship, public access, circulation, interpretation, recreation, and phased development. It should balance public use and civic investment with environmental preservation and operational sustainability, while addressing visitor experiences, implementation priorities, capital investment strategies, and long-term maintenance. The solicitation includes property, park, archaeology, historic-register, and historical-reference appendices.
