Description
The City of Mill Valley seeks Statements of Qualifications from qualified landscape architectural firms or teams to establish up to three on-call professional services agreements. The selected consultants will provide services on an as-needed basis, with no guaranteed assignments or minimum compensation. The scope may include landscape planning and design for parks, trails, streetscapes, medians, parkways, plazas, athletic facilities, playgrounds, dog parks, and other public spaces; planting and irrigation design; lawn conversion and water-conservation projects; master plans and feasibility studies; grant assistance; community engagement; cost estimating; drafting, graphics, and visualization; plan and peer review; permitting and regulatory coordination; construction documents; construction administration; and construction observation. Assignments will generally be authorized through task-order proposals and written Notices to Proceed, with payment based on negotiated hourly rates and task-specific not-to-exceed amounts. The anticipated initial contract term is three years, with up to two additional one-year extensions under the sample agreement.
