Description
The Florida Prepaid College Board is seeking an independent actuarial services provider for the Stanley G. Tate Florida Prepaid College Program. The scope includes transition planning; annual planning; quarterly data review, actuarial valuations, valuation letters, and discounted and undiscounted cash-flow projections; an annual actuarial adequacy valuation and report; sensitivity analysis; annual plan pricing by product, payment option, and beneficiary age; supporting actuarial and pricing files; Board presentations; consultation; assumption studies; workshops; legislative and governing-authority support; and other approved actuarial projects. The selected contractor must use Board-provided or Board-approved data and assumptions, comply with applicable qualification standards, Actuarial Standards of Practice, and the Actuarial Code of Professional Conduct, and maintain quality-control, continuity, data-security, documentation, audit-support, and transition-to-successor procedures. The initial contract term is anticipated to be five years, with up to five optional one-year renewals. Respondents must provide a completed Written Response Packet addressing minimum qualifications, organizational experience, scope of services, value-added services, and a ten-year pricing schedule covering core services, additional deliverables, hourly services, and optional value-added services.
