Description
The Town of Brewster is soliciting sealed bids to stabilize the area around an existing culvert at the mouth of Paines Creek. The work includes using on-site boulders, articulated concrete block mats, and all incidental work required to complete the project. Bids will be evaluated based on bidder qualifications, evidence of past performance on similar projects, and price, with award to the lowest responsible and eligible bidder. A bid security equal to 5% of the bid price is required, and the successful contractor must provide 100% performance and labor-and-materials bonds. Applicable Massachusetts and federal prevailing-wage requirements apply, with the higher rate governing.
