Description
The City of Arlington is seeking a qualified contractor to provide airfield lighting consulting, staff training, technical support, and procurement of replacement parts, equipment, and materials as authorized by the City. Training may cover airfield lighting operations, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting; consulting may address repairs, replacements, upgrades, and maintenance needs. No labor is included in the scope. Supplied products must be FAA-approved or third-party listed by ETL/Intertek or UL. The contractor must have technical expertise with major FAA-approved airfield ground-lighting manufacturers and be certified under the Airfield Lighting Equipment Certification Program (ALECP). Respondents must submit company qualifications and relevant experience plus an hourly-rate quote; equipment and material costs must not be included in the quote. The contract term is three years, with an option for one additional year, and work will be issued by work order.
