Description
Fort Wayne Community Schools seeks an architectural and engineering team to design a comprehensive renovation of the original portions of Levan R. Scott Academy. Services include programming and space-use evaluation; assessment and design recommendations for exterior, structural, and building-envelope systems; interior architectural improvements; and modernization of mechanical, plumbing, electrical, technology, and life-safety systems. The team will investigate existing conditions, address accessibility and code compliance, and coordinate with the owner, construction manager, and stakeholders. The project requires planning for construction phasing and continuity of operations at an active elementary school, along with cost estimating, constructability review, scheduling, and value analysis. Construction is anticipated to begin in December 2027 and finish by July 21, 2028.
