Description
Fort Wayne Community Schools is seeking a Construction Manager as Constructor (CMc) to provide preconstruction and construction-phase services for a comprehensive renovation of the original portions of Levan R. Scott Academy. The project is intended to modernize the existing school and address architectural, structural, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, technology, life-safety, accessibility, and code-compliance needs. The CMc will collaborate with the owner and design team on existing-condition investigations, scope development, estimating, constructability, scheduling, phasing, value analysis, subcontractor prequalification, public bidding, and development of a Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP). The proposal must include fees for both preconstruction and construction-phase services. Construction is anticipated to begin in December 2027 and finish by July 21, 2028.
