Description
The Indiana Department of Natural Resources seeks a contractor to provide preventative maintenance for emergency generator equipment under a two-year contract. The scope includes one pre-scheduled service visit per year, completed before October 1, along with inspections, testing, cleaning, adjustments, repairs, parts replacement, fuel testing, and maintenance of related equipment such as transfer switches. The contractor must perform an initial site inspection and provide an equipment assessment and maintenance schedule. The contractor may also be called upon for emergency services outside scheduled visits, including after-hours, weekend, and holiday calls. Emergency calls require a phone response within 30 minutes and on-site service within a timeframe agreed upon with the property manager. The contractor must provide qualified personnel and any software needed to program and service the site’s control systems. The bid form requires the contractor to perform at least 15% of the work with its own forces; no more than 85% may be subcontracted.
