The Defense Logistics Agency is seeking 200 Mil-Spec shoulder sleeve insignia for the U.S. Army. The required item is a subdued, three-color Netherlands flag insignia measuring 2.25 by 3.5 inches, with Velcro hook backing and identification intended for viewing through night-vision goggles. The item must be manufactured by a vendor certified by The Institute of Heraldry and listed on its certified manufacturer list. The contractor must provide five first-article samples within 30 calendar days after award for government testing. Production items require destination inspection and acceptance, domestic-origin components under the Berry Amendment, ASTM D3951 packaging as supplemented by DLA requirements, and MIL-STD-129 marking and labeling.
