IDEA Florida, Inc. is soliciting proposals for a fully managed, dedicated, symmetrical 1 Gbps WAN solution connecting two designated hub locations in Austin and Weslaco, Texas, with six Florida campuses in Jacksonville, Tampa, and Lakeland. The solution must support resilient, scalable point-to-point connectivity, terminate at each building’s demarcation point, and include all required network electronics, equipment, software, installation, construction, and management components. Vendors may propose traditional or alternative network designs but must document routes, route diversity, resiliency, construction requirements, ownership, and implementation progress reporting. The contract requires 36 months of service beginning July 1, 2027, with no renewal options or price increases during the term. Proposals must comply with E-Rate requirements and include valid SPIN and FCC Registration Number information. Required service commitments include 99.99% availability, specified latency, packet-loss and jitter limits, 24/7/365 support, two-hour outage response, and four-hour restoration. Vendors must submit the required narrative proposal, signed attachments, references, litigation and claims disclosures, and the buyer-provided proposed-pricing workbook; pricing must separately identify recurring, non-recurring, special-construction, E-Rate-eligible, and ineligible costs.
