Description
The City of Seattle is seeking qualified mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineering consultant teams to provide on-call, as-needed professional services for small to medium projects at City-owned and managed facilities. The scope includes studies, assessments, recommendations, option analyses, design calculations, specifications, permitting support, construction administration, inspection, systems integration, controls, and subject-matter expertise. Potential work includes HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, electrical infrastructure, emergency and backup power, fire alarms, building automation, electric-vehicle charging, decarbonization, sustainability, and related building-system upgrades or replacements. The City anticipates awarding two to three contracts, each valid through 2031, with a maximum value of $2,000,000 per contract; utilization is not guaranteed. Respondents must demonstrate relevant project experience, provide three client or partner references, meet local team availability requirements, submit a WMBE Inclusion Plan and Consultant Questionnaire, and address the stated qualifications and evaluation criteria. Registration in the City's procurement portal is required, and responses must be submitted electronically through that portal.
