Description
The City of Seattle is soliciting bids for construction of 115 curb ramps at multiple intersections in Seattle, including 106 new ramps and 9 rebuilt ramps. The work must comply with ADA accessibility standards and includes sidewalk, pavement, curb replacement, earthwork, drainage infrastructure, channelization and signing, landscape restoration, and miscellaneous related construction. The project also includes rebar installation for bidder/subcontractor-list purposes. The engineer’s estimate is $4,500,000 to $4,700,000. Bidders must submit the electronic bid through OpenGov, including the completed bid forms, signed declaration, 5% bid guaranty, Inclusion Plan, Bidder/Subcontractor List, and recycled-materials proposal. The project is subject to the City’s Community Workforce Agreement and Priority Hire requirements, including WMBE inclusion, apprentice utilization, prevailing-wage, and related labor-equity obligations. Work must be physically completed within 170 working days after the Notice to Proceed.
