Description
The City of Lake Saint Louis is requesting proposals for consultant and broker services for its employee benefit plans, including dental, vision, life, accidental death and dismemberment, short-term disability, long-term disability, and cafeteria plans. The selected firm will review plan design, funding, costs, administration, carrier performance, rates, and regulatory compliance; provide recommendations and written reports; develop and evaluate future solicitations; negotiate renewals; assist with claims and employee communications; and facilitate on-site employee meetings. The broker will market insurance coverage and implement approved coverage, with compensation paid by insurance carriers rather than the City. Proposals must address the firm's qualifications, relevant governmental and large-group experience, reporting capabilities, regulatory monitoring, licensing, independence, and specified general questions. The commission and fee schedule must be submitted in a separately sealed envelope, and an E-Verify affidavit is required from the selected consultant.
