Description
The City of O'Fallon is soliciting sealed bids to furnish and deliver open-channel sanitary sewer comminutors for the Peruque and West Lift Stations. The scope includes heavy-duty comminutors with hardened stainless-steel cutters and sizing screens; submersible explosion-proof motors and gear reducers; automatic reversing controllers with PLC logic, motor protection, current sensing, and moisture detection; stainless-steel guide plates, overflow bar screens, rigid lifting bails, and specified spare parts. The bid also includes manufacturer startup assistance, including equipment installation oversight, inspection, startup, and adjustment support. Bidders must provide pricing for all listed items, submit the supplied bid form and required certifications, and include four references for similar equipment, materials, or services. The specifications require delivery to two O'Fallon lift-station locations and include detailed insurance, E-Verify, worker-eligibility, domestic-products, and other compliance requirements.
