Description
The City of O'Fallon is soliciting bids for new, current-production 12-volt automotive batteries in multiple group sizes and configurations, including Group 65, H6/Group 48, H7/Group 94R, H8/Group 49, Group 31, Group 24/24F, and 96R/H5. Requirements include flooded or maintenance-free batteries, AGM batteries, and heavy-duty commercial batteries with specified minimum cold-cranking-amp ratings, terminal configurations, dimensions, polarity, and application fitment. Equivalent products may be proposed when they meet or exceed the specifications, with supporting catalog literature or technical documentation. The awarded vendor will provide unit pricing, delivery and emergency-delivery information, warranty details, core charges, and any stocking and replenishment services. Batteries will be ordered as needed, with no guaranteed minimum quantities, and prices must include freight, delivery, and handling. The contract has a one-year initial period with three additional one-year renewal options.
