Description
The City of Lake Saint Louis is soliciting sealed bids for Phase 1 improvements along approximately 2,065 feet of Lake Saint Louis Boulevard. Work includes milling and resurfacing, pavement widening, storm sewer and inlet construction, medians, removal and replacement of concrete sidewalk and shared-use path, new curb ramps with truncated domes, and striping. Bidders must be on MoDOT's Qualified Contractor List, and the contractor questionnaire must be on file seven days before bid opening. A certified or cashier's check or bid bond equal to 5% of the bid is required. The project has a 0% DBE goal, prohibits second-tier subcontracting, and requires prevailing wages and a 10-hour OSHA construction safety program for on-site employees within 60 days of beginning work.
