Description
The City of O'Fallon is soliciting construction bids for a new multi-lane roundabout at Tom Ginnever Avenue and North Cool Springs Road. The work includes sidewalks, a shared-use path, lighting, signing, pavement marking, a retaining wall, storm sewers, utility relocations, grading, restoration, and related miscellaneous work. Bids must be submitted in paper form and will be awarded to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder. The prime contractor must be listed on the Missouri Department of Transportation's approved or qualified contractor list, with the required contractor questionnaire and attachments on file at least seven days before bid opening. A certified or cashier's check or bid bond equal to 5% of the proposal is required. The project has a 0% DBE goal and prohibits second-tier subcontracting.
