Description
The Military Sealift Command is soliciting a contractor to operate and maintain Expeditionary Transfer Dock vessels in support of assigned missions. The vessels must be operated professionally, maintained in good operable condition, and kept mission-ready except during scheduled maintenance, repair, and overhaul periods. The contractor must comply with applicable laws, contract requirements, United States Coast Guard rules, and American Bureau of Shipping requirements, including maintaining valid USCG Certificates of Inspection and ABS classifications and statutory certificates. The procurement is set aside for small businesses and requires the contractor to maintain a SECRET facility clearance and employ personnel with SECRET clearances. The Government expects to award a single fixed-price contract with pass-through elements using a tradeoff source-selection process.
