Description
This Sources Sought/RFI concerns a planned 2027 contract for stevedoring and related terminal services throughout the Sultanate of Oman. The anticipated scope includes handling imported and exported U.S. Government cargo at the seaports of Duqm, Salalah, and Sohar; Thumrait Royal Airbase; Duqm International Airfield; and other designated Omani locations. Required capabilities include vessel, truck, rail, and aircraft-related cargo reception, loading, discharge, staging, storage, inland movement, tallying, cargo security, customs documentation and clearance, facility support, hazardous-material and ammunition handling, vehicle and equipment operation, maintenance support, cranes and material-handling equipment, and qualified labor. Respondents are asked to complete the Information Sheet and Market Research Survey, describe relevant recent experience and capabilities, identify business size and socioeconomic status, and provide information about available contract vehicles and barriers to performance. The response is limited to five pages, excluding a title page and cover letter; this is market research only and will not result in an award.
