Description
The Liquor Control Board of Ontario is requesting proposals for ocean freight forwarding services covering shipments from its overseas suppliers to Canadian container terminals and the export of empty kegs from keg distributor facilities in Ontario to originating breweries overseas. Proponents must submit rates for all countries and all lanes within each country, with the intent to select one provider per country of origin for supplier cargo and one provider for empty-keg returns across all destination countries. The submission requires business capability and attestation materials, financial statements, a bank letter of credit, EDI capability documentation, business continuity and disaster recovery information, and pricing schedules for FOB rates, EXW rates, empty-keg export rates, and demurrage and detention charges. The agreement will have a fixed two-year term beginning on a date to be determined by the buyer.
