Description
This Sources Sought notice requests information on the price and availability of U.S. and foreign-flag, self-sustaining vessels capable of transporting military cargo, including helicopters, tracked and wheeled vehicles, breakbulk cargo, and 10 TEU with greater than Category 1.4 Class V hazardous materials. The vessel must provide a qualified crew crane operator and include a stern ramp door and main-deck height suitable for the stated cargo requirements. The anticipated charter period is approximately 137 days, with laydays commencing or canceling on January 10, 2027. Respondents are asked to provide vessel descriptions, daily charter hire rates, applicable delivery or redelivery bonuses, fuel consumption rates, militarily useful deck space, supercargo capacity, business size, and potential subcontracting opportunities.
