Description
The City of East Palo Alto is seeking qualified firms or individuals to provide on-call economic development consulting services for five years. The consultant will serve as an extension of City staff and support implementation of the City's Economic Development Strategic Plan and Five-Year Implementation Plan on an as-needed basis. The scope includes economic development program support; business-license and permitting process improvements; business outreach, retention, and expansion; small-business and entrepreneurship programs; workforce-development partnerships; communications and marketing; development and investment support; economic development reporting and performance metrics; and special projects. Proposals must address the firm's qualifications, team, approach, schedule, success metrics, references, relevant work, fees, conflicts of interest, and ability to comply with insurance requirements. The City has a maximum budget of $100,000 per fiscal year, subject to City Council approval.
