Description
Cochise County seeks a vendor to legally remove and harvest protected native plants, specifically ocotillos and agave, from the future construction site of its new jail. The work includes obtaining the required Arizona native plant permit, providing state tags for each protected plant, and complying with applicable native plant laws and regulations. The vendor must describe the percentage of plants it would sell within the county and the percentage it would return to the County for landscaping at the new site. Proposals must address the salvage and removal plan, availability and timeline to complete the project, relevant experience with protected plant salvage and transplanting, and any cost to the County. The County will evaluate submissions on those criteria and may make one or multiple awards. Online submission is required; faxed and hard-copy submissions are not accepted.
