Description
This project involves the restoration of the nature trail at Batesburg-Leesville High School, including tree removal, site clearing, grubbing, earthwork, aggregate base course installation, and seeding/grassing. The work includes protection of existing trees and vegetation, removal of surface debris, sod, pavements, and below-grade improvements. Earthwork includes excavation, backfilling, grading, and compaction for structures, walks, pavements, and utility trenches. Aggregate base course will be placed under slabs, sidewalks, and roads. Seeding and grassing will be performed with specified seed mixtures, fertilizers, mulching, and erosion control measures. The contractor is responsible for all materials, labor, and equipment, and must comply with SCDOT standards and environmental regulations.
