Description
The Birmingham Airport Authority (BAA) is seeking qualified vendors to perform an airfield marking application project. The scope of work includes surface preparation, removal of existing markings as needed, and reapplication of all existing markings on the air carrier and air cargo ramp, runways (6/24 and 18/36), and various taxiways (A, B, F, G, H, M, N, P). Markings will be reapplied according to FAA Advisory Circular 150/5340-1. Work may involve water blasting for rubber and marking removal, and may be scheduled for both daytime and nighttime. BAA will provide escorts for the duration of the project. The contract will have an initial term of three years with two one-year options, for a total of five years. Prices must remain firm for the three-year initial term.
