Description
Palm Beach County Department of Airports is soliciting proposals from qualified aviation consulting firms to complete a Master Plan Update for Palm Beach International Airport (PBI). This update is necessary due to significant growth in passenger enplanements and changes in aircraft operations. The Master Plan will serve as the guiding document for PBI's future development and will include elements such as public involvement, existing conditions analysis, aviation forecast validation, facility requirements, alternatives development and evaluation, airport layout plan, facilities implementation plan, environmental considerations, and financial feasibility analysis. The selected consultant will be required to comply with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) regulations, as well as all applicable Federal, State, and Local Codes, Regulations, Ordinances, and Policies. The contract will be funded in whole or in part with federal and/or state funds. Firms must be familiar with the detailed federal requirements applicable to projects funded with federal grants. The solicitation is a Request for Qualifications (RFQ). The firm selected will enter into a non-exclusive agreement and will be expected to comply with the County's Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) program and Insurance Requirements.
