Description
Sea Island Habitat for Humanity (SIHH) is soliciting sealed proposals for the Sweetgrass Preserve Infrastructure project. This project involves the development of a 47-lot single-family residential neighborhood on Johns Island, SC. The scope of work includes comprehensive site improvements such as clearing, grading, installation of water systems, septic fields, building pads, and right-of-way development. This project will utilize Federal funds administered through Charleston County's ARPA Gap Financing and SHOP grant funds from Habitat for Humanity International. Consequently, contractors and subcontractors must comply with Section 3 of the HUD Act of 1968 (24 CFR Part 135) and Federal Labor Standards. SIHH strongly encourages the participation of Section 3 individuals and businesses, as well as minority-owned and women-owned businesses.
