Description
The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Wing Inflatable, Inc. for the replacement and installation of sponsons on two small boats aboard the NOAA Ship Nancy Foster. The boats are identified as HRN 1718 (NF-2) and HRN 1605 (NF-3), both 17ft RIBs manufactured in 2016 and 2011 respectively. The scope of work includes the procurement of new sponsons, associated materials, and their installation on both boats. The requested start date for material procurement is one day after award, with delivery no later than November 30, 2026. Installation is scheduled to coincide with the ship's winter alongside period, with a requested start date of November 30, 2026, and completion no later than January 31, 2027. The boats are currently homeported in Charleston, South Carolina, and this address will be used for material delivery and installation.
