Description
The County of Orange Sheriff-Coroner is soliciting bids for comprehensive helicopter maintenance services. The contract will cover the maintenance and repair of a fleet of five helicopters, including one AS350B2, two AS350B3, and two UH-1H models, projected to accumulate approximately 2700 flight hours annually. Services required include routine and major inspections, airframe and engine maintenance in accordance with FAA regulations and manufacturer manuals, and unscheduled maintenance. Mechanics must be available during business hours and on-call 24/7. The contractor will be responsible for providing necessary tools for offsite or contractor facility maintenance, while the County will provide specialized tools and shop equipment when services are performed on County property. The maintenance facility must be an Airbus Helicopters Certified Service Center located within a 55-mile radius of John Wayne Airport (SNA).
