Description
The Defense Logistics Agency is soliciting a quotation for two packages of disposable chemical heating pads, with 24 pads per package. The requested pads are approximately 11 by 4 inches, provide one hour of uniform heat, conform to body contours, have a maximum temperature of 110 degrees Fahrenheit, and use plastic-laminated fabric for the outer case. The supplies must be delivered FOB destination within 20 days after award to the specified military medical facility. Commercial packaging, medical marking requirements, applicable preservation and packing instructions, destination inspection and acceptance, and domestic-material restrictions apply. The solicitation also states that alternate offers must include complete technical data and that hazardous-material safety documentation may be required before award.
