Description
The City of Cleveland is soliciting consultant services to supplement its staff in delivering active transportation quick-build projects under its multimodal transportation and Vision Zero initiatives. The work includes preparing construction plans, reallocating roadway cross-sections, designing separated bicycle facilities, upgrading pedestrian crossings, improving traffic signal timing, and incorporating ADA-accessible transit environments. The selected consultant must be prequalified by the Ohio Department of Transportation in specified roadway, bicycle-facility, safety-study, and traffic-signal design categories. Work will be assigned through task orders negotiated on a lump-sum or cost-plus-fixed-fee basis. The contract amount is $1,000,000, with a two-year term or until funds are expended. Proposals require technical qualifications, project approach, key personnel, management approach, work-product samples, ODOT prequalification documentation, fee information, client references, City forms, and OEO participation schedules.
