Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is soliciting quotes from certified, VA-verified service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses for maintenance and support of the deionized water generation system serving the Sterile Processing Service at the Erie Veterans Medical Center. The contractor must provide all labor, parts, materials, equipment rental, transportation, and related services for preventive maintenance, tank exchange and regeneration, filter and ultraviolet bulb replacement, meter calibration, bacteria testing, loop sanitization, sterilization, repairs, installation, and startup and operational training for VA staff. New 3.6-cubic-foot deionized tanks must be supplied and installed, while maintaining uninterrupted deionized water service. The contract is firm-fixed-price with one base year and four one-year option periods, with an estimated performance period from September 20, 2026, through September 19, 2031. The contractor must provide 24/7/365 on-call support, respond to emergency requests within the stated emergency-response window, and provide routine service within 48 hours. Quotes must include completed pricing for all line items and the required limitations-on-subcontracting certification; the service contract is subject to a 50% limitation on payments to non-certified SDVOSB/VOSB firms.
