Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is soliciting a contractor to perform quarterly and annual ventilation surveys at the Erie VA Medical Center. Quarterly testing covers clinical, sterile processing, surgical, laboratory, pharmacy, isolation, urgent care, dental, surgical clinic, laundry, and other designated areas. Services include evaluating airflow, room pressure relationships, air exchange rates, waste anesthetic gas and nitrous oxide leaks, vacuum terminal performance, medical piping systems, carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide, halogenated hydrocarbons, methane, and dew point. The contractor must provide preliminary findings during surveys, complete reports with drawings and specified data fields, and final reports within two weeks after each survey. The procurement is a firm-fixed-price contract with a base year and four one-year option periods. The opportunity is set aside for certified veteran-owned small businesses, and the offeror must comply with the applicable limitations on subcontracting and submit the required certification with its quote.
