Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking one engineering services firm for a single-award, firm-fixed-price IDIQ design contract supporting the Erie VA Medical Center. The five-year contract will provide as-needed task orders for multidisciplinary architectural, engineering, surveying, interior design, site investigation, design, construction-period, inspection, commissioning, environmental, sustainability, security, cost-estimating, and related professional services for renovations, repairs, alterations, and new construction. Services may include medical-facility design, CAD/BIM documentation, construction administration, construction inspection, submittal and change-order review, requests-for-information responses, and record drawings. The opportunity is a 100% SDVOSB set-aside under NAICS 541330. The contract ceiling is $7,000,000, with a $2,000 minimum guarantee satisfied by the initial task order. Firms must submit SF 330 Parts I and II and an insert containing the primary point-of-contact email, SAM Unique Entity Identifier, VetCert verification letter, errors-and-omissions insurance policy, Pennsylvania licensure or a plan for sealing drawings through a Pennsylvania-licensed engineer, and the primary design-office statement. At least five similar projects are expected, and the evaluation emphasizes professional qualifications, specialized experience, technical competence, past performance, capacity, geographic proximity, SDVOSB subcontracting, and construction-period-services experience.
