Description
The City of Palmdale is soliciting proposals from qualified consultants licensed to do business in California to provide construction management and inspection services for the McAdam Park Renovation Project. The underlying renovation includes accessory building and park construction, concrete, landscape and irrigation, playground and park amenities, utilities, fencing, lighting, and parking lot improvements. The selected consultant must provide a qualified construction manager and at least one experienced full-time construction observer. Services include plan and specification review, construction scheduling and phasing, coordination with the contractor, City, design team, utilities, agencies, stakeholders, and community, review of submittals and payment requests, change-order and claims support, daily inspection reports and photographs, weekly working-day statements, project updates, records management, geotechnical and materials-testing oversight, as-built plans, final walk-through, punch-list, substantial-completion recommendations, and project closeout assistance. The anticipated construction-management and inspection period is 200 working days, followed by 20 working days for project closeout. Proposals must include organizational qualifications and staffing information, a technical proposal, cost proposal, required forms, licenses, insurance evidence, and at least four client references.
