Description
The City of Billings, Montana is accepting sealed bids for construction of a new large-diameter storm drain main along 44th Street West and Broadwater Avenue. The project includes excavation, storm trunk main installation, and restoration work. Contractors and subcontractors must be registered with the Montana Department of Labor and Industry, and applicable Yellowstone County and Montana prevailing wage requirements apply. A non-mandatory pre-bid conference is scheduled for August 25, 2026. Bids are due by 2:00 p.m. local time on September 15, 2026, and will be publicly opened, with the opening streamed via the City's Facebook page. Bids must include a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond equal to at least 10% of the bid amount. The successful bidder must provide 100% performance and labor-and-materials payment bonds and required insurance documentation.
