Description
The Indian Health Service requires new commercial IT equipment on a brand-name-or-equal basis for a Billings Area server refresh. The requirement includes three Configuration 1 systems, each with at least 50 TB of usable storage and four compute servers, and three Configuration 2 systems, each with at least 30 TB of usable storage and three compute servers. Equipment must be new, not used, refurbished, remanufactured, gray-market, or counterfeit, and must include OEM warranties. Proposed solutions must operate in a pure IPv6 environment and comply with the applicable NIST USGv6 standards profile. Offerors proposing equal products must identify the manufacturer, brand, model, and part number; provide manufacturer-controlled technical information; describe required modifications; and identify differences from the brand reference or Government requirements. The quotation must address technical capability, understanding of the requirements, past performance, and pricing by line item. An HHS Section 508 Product Assessment Template and Indian Economic Enterprise representation are also required. The amendment incorporates the Nonmanufacturer Rule; a waiver remains under review by the Small Business Administration and may result in a further amendment before award.
