Description
The U.S. Department of the Navy, through NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support Philadelphia, intends to purchase 25 torque pack assemblies (NSN 1R-5120-011350846-RH; part number PD602) from Power-Dyne LLC (CAGE 023T5) on a sole-source basis. The requirement is for supplies delivered FOB origin, and no drawings or technical data are available. The government identifies Power-Dyne LLC as the original equipment manufacturer and only known source for the part and does not possess the data or rights needed to purchase it from additional sources. Other responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation for consideration, but this notice is not a request for competitive proposals. Firms not already approved to manufacture the material must submit a Source Approval Request, although the procurement will not be delayed for approval. Buy American clauses and UID requirements apply, and the acquisition will use FAR Part 15 procedures rather than commercial-item procedures.
