Description
The City of Bryan is soliciting competitive sealed proposals for construction services at the Tabor Pump Station. The work includes demolition of existing mechanical and electrical equipment; installation of a new vertical turbine pump and motor; redundant primary metered utility service and transformers; two-source metal-clad switchgear; a medium-voltage motor control center; a new 208Y/120V utility service for the administration building; four insertion-type magnetic flow meters in access vaults; and associated instrumentation, controls, structural, civil, stormwater, traffic-control, permitting, and commissioning work. The estimated construction budget is $7,500,000, and the targeted completion period is 450 working days from the Notice to Proceed. The proposal must include pricing, a project schedule, organizational chart, personnel resumes, subcontractor information, relevant project experience, references, contractor proximity information, a completed bid proposal form, a proposal bond equal to 5% of the total proposal amount, a surety letter confirming bonding capacity, a felony conviction notification form, and other required qualifications documentation. Performance and payment bonds, insurance, warranties, and operations and maintenance materials are required after award or during contract performance.
