Description
The City of Providence is seeking a general contractor for a complete interior renovation at the Juanita Sanchez Educational Complex to create a dental lab and make associated improvements to the adjacent computer lab. Work includes selective demolition; new partitions, finishes, doors, and equipment coordination; and modifications to plumbing, HVAC, electrical, fire protection, and fire alarm systems. The contractor must procure specified furniture, furnishings, and equipment in coordination with the lab equipment vendor; the vendor is anticipated to install the equipment. The project also requires maintaining safe, operational school spaces during construction, dust and indoor-air-quality controls, permits, inspections, testing, and closeout documentation.
