Description
Hancock County is soliciting a Letter of Interest from qualified firms to provide professional engineering services for a federal-aid project at NineStar Park. The project includes approximately 0.75 miles of new multi-use trail, a paved parking area, lighting, and signage. The estimated construction amount is $350,000, with funding from the Indiana Trails Program and local funds. The anticipated professional services include environmental document preparation, project management, topographic survey data collection, title search, roadway design, appraisal and appraisal review, right-of-way plan development, bridge design, and construction inspection. The contract term is until project completion. Firms must describe their qualifications, key staff, project approach, capacity, similar-project experience, and proposed subcontractors, including DBE status and work percentages. The Letter of Interest may not exceed 12 pages and must be signed by an officer of the firm.
