Description

The City of Puyallup seeks consulting and engineering services for illicit discharge detection and elimination (IDDE) source tracing in the Clarks Creek, Meeker Creek, and Deer Creek basins. Work includes screening for bacteria sources at safely accessible municipal stormwater outfalls or drainage access points, responding to identified illicit connections and discharges, and coordinating with the City to meet Phase II Municipal Stormwater Permit requirements. Services must be performed or supervised by appropriately licensed or registered professionals. The consultant will provide a reporting document and a plan for future screening and testing. The qualifications submission must describe the firm's relevant experience, at least three similar completed projects and references for each, the proposed project manager and team, staff availability, and relevant NPDES permit experience. The SOQ is limited to 10 single-sided pages, including the cover letter and resumes.
