Description
The Naval Research Laboratory requires a complete greenhouse climate control system for the Laboratory for Autonomous Systems Research. The contractor must provide all labor, materials, equipment, software, installation, integration, configuration, commissioning, testing, training, documentation, and coordination needed for a fully operational system capable of simulating a Southeast Asian tropical environment. The scope includes automated control and monitoring of temperature, humidity, heating, exhaust ventilation, air circulation, roof/gable/sidewall vents, fogging, solar shading, and outdoor weather conditions. The contractor must furnish and install control panels, indoor and outdoor sensors, a weather station, wiring and direct CAT6 communications, control software, data logging, alarms, diagnostics, and system integration with existing equipment and a government-provided workstation. The contractor must remove existing control hardware, perform onsite calibration and functional testing through the software manufacturer’s technician, provide system documentation and as-built drawings, train facility staff onsite, and provide at least a one-year warranty covering supplied equipment, installation, wiring, integration, and functionality. The solicitation requires new equipment, OEM or authorized-reseller status, and manufacturer documentation confirming authorization.
