Description
The Forest Service is soliciting a firm-fixed-price quote for one complete, operational 4,000-gallon water tender unit installed on a government-furnished 2021 Kenworth T880 chassis configured for quick-change operation. The system must be compatible with the existing configuration and include the tank, baffling, mounting system, hydraulic pump and drive, hydraulic reservoir and lines, plumbing, rear and side spray systems, controls, lighting, sight gauge, ladder, fittings, and related components. The specified unit includes a 4,000-gallon modified-trapezoid tank, 75-gallon-per-minute pump at 65 PSI, and associated warranties. The contractor must provide installation, testing, inspection support, transportation when applicable, and a demonstration showing operation and removal or installation of the water tender by one experienced operator using minimal tools in 30 minutes or less. All work and return of the government-furnished vehicle must be completed within 182 calendar days after contract award. Quotes must include pricing for CLIN 0001, vendor name and UEI, proposed manufacturer and model, technical compliance documentation, responses to the stated criteria, schedule confirmation, exceptions or deviations, and applicable transportation costs. The procurement is a total small-business set-aside.
