Description
Stanislaus County Department of Public Works seeks a qualified consulting firm to develop a comprehensive Safe Streets and Roads for All Safety Action Plan and complete streets guidelines for rural and urban roadway contexts in the county’s unincorporated areas. The work includes project management, stakeholder coordination, public engagement, crash and safety analysis, identification and prioritization of high-collision locations, equity and policy reviews, countermeasure recommendations, performance metrics, and preparation of draft and final plans and roadway design guidelines. The plan is intended to support future safety infrastructure grant applications and must address the specified federal Safe Streets and Roads for All program components. The consultant must provide one or more California-licensed civil or traffic engineers. Proposals must include a technical approach and work plan, qualifications and relevant experience, team organization and resumes, a project schedule, and a separately sealed cost schedule. Submit four hard copies and one digital copy on a USB thumb drive. The contract term is three years; the scope anticipates project coordination over up to 24 months.
